Hyrule Warriors will be updated with Amiibo compatibility later this month, Nintendo announced.
Pressing the Amiibo link on the GamePad will unleash the "Spinner" weapon, a useful element in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which is a great tool for breaking down enemies in Hyrule Warriors.
Digitization in other Amiibo also has various effects. Each Amiibo compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is also compatible with Hyrule Warriors. By scanning an object, the players will get a random material, weapon or rupee.
The Hyrule Warriors Twilight Princess's The Legend of Zelda add-on pack will be available simultaneously with the Amiibo update.
