Digimon Survive unveiled Ryou Tominaga

The latest issue of V-Jump introduces a new character and Digimon should feature in the RPG survival strategy Digimon Survive. Ryou Tominaga (voiced by Yohei Azakami) is a third-year high school student, unable to accept that he has come to another world. His Digimon Kunemon (voiced by Ryouhei Arai) does not speak human language, but understands Ryou's words.

The magazine also has some new information from the story:

- A mist rises as Takuma investigates the shrine and a strange presence could gradually be felt on approach. When the monsters attack, Takuma cooperates with his new friend Koromon to defend himself.
- Back at school where they stay during the camp, they find it in ruins. Anxious and clueless, they hear Ryou screaming from inside the building ...
- Move around freely and look for a way to survive within the allotted time. Browse the map as you please, talk to friends, and investigate suspicious places to advance the story.

Digimon Survive is expected to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC in 2020. In Japan, it will be marketed only on PlayStation 4 and Switch.
