A newly opened Twitter account for a new project Kowloon's Gate announced Sunday that Zeque's PlayStation Kowloon Gate game on would receive a sequel titled Kowloon's Rhizome: A Day of the Fire. The game "Back-Alley Open World" will take place in 2025.
The account started broadcasting a short video in real time on Monday. The video shows the people of Guangming who are protecting themselves from harm by using a digital skin called "Sleeve".
Jetman launched its Kowloon's Gate VR Suzaku game in October 2017. This is a virtual reality project from Kowloon's Gate, with stereoscopic sound.
The original Kowloon's Gate was marketed for PlayStation in Japan in 1997. The game debuted on the PlayStation Network in Japan in 2010. The game is set in the walled city of Kowloon in Hong Kong. In the game, a practitioner of Super Feng Shui must restore the balance between the realms of Yin and Yang.
